Due to Nic’s caring and nurturing natural personality, you are put at ease. I started yoga with Nicola our gem yogie in a work environment situation. Nic put us all at ease instantly, listening to our conversation, adapting to our needs.. modifying yoga postures to suit our ailments .. shoulder and back pain for me . I quickly discovered her studio, a tranquil environment with the air of professionalism.. delightful. A genuine caring instructor who actually likes to adapt her program to suit individuals whilst in a group. Nothing is too much for our Nicola, She welcomes everyone. 'I have been attending yoga classes with Nicola on and off for close to 7 years now. I say on and off because I am a mum and nurse and limited not only by my families needs but also the demands of shift and on call work. Yet every time I set foot in Nicola's rainforest studio I feel my mind calm and an inner emotional realignment begin.
There is no judgement on missed sessions and her small class sizes make it feel like a catch up with friends. Nicola's yoga style is technical yet adaptable to all skill levels so none of us miss out on what we are seeking. Nicola is an attentive teacher, always explaining, correcting and encouraging ; her classes both mentally and physically challenging. I cannot recommend Yoga First with Nicola highly enough.' After a day of teaching, it is a joy attending Nicola’s yoga classes on our school grounds. Nicola creates a warm, welcoming and calm environment whilst providing a depth of knowledge and understanding of yoga practice. Her instructions are clear and her manner is gentle. Since joining Nicola’s classes, I have developed a deeper knowledge of a range of postures and an increase in flexibility and body awareness.
